A little bit about me: I’m a book coach and location independent entrepreneur who has contributed to 100+ books throughout more than fifteen years in publishing. I’ve been living in Portugal for five years and have also lived in the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, and Thailand. The honor of my professional life is guiding authors along the transformative journey of authorhood—and helping them reach their goal of becoming a published author.

I first met Misty in Boise, Idaho, at a training I was doing for female leaders. We’ve since spent time together in Oregon and Portugal, and I’m fortunate to be able to call her one of my closest friends.

One of the many reasons Misty and I connected is because we’re big dreamers. We see the world as ripe with opportunity, believe there is no such thing as competition in our fields, and see life through a lens of abundance. One moment stands out to me when this became crystalized.

Misty and I were with another close friend, Emily, in a swimming pool locker room, at a resort we were all speaking at. Misty had organized the weekend, bringing in influential accountants from across the country to learn about branding, book-writing (that’s me!), and beyond to help them scale their messaging and make a true impact on the world.

As we sat in that locker room together, post-hot-tub, we dreamed. We shared our visions, and the impact we wanted to make on the world. We laughed. We told stories and shared our hearts and bonded.

And after more than an hour in that locker room, we realized we were just minutes from being locked in for the night!

Since that night, Misty and I have had the joy and honor of collaborating on many projects, and our clients often hop between the two of us—to Misty, then to me, or the other way around. Our processes align with a beautiful synchronicity that only comes when two people anchor deeply to the same center: vision and purpose.

Misty’s a master at helping you share your message on stage, and to show up in all your sparkle and eloquence. And as a book coach, I help people craft the book that is not only the ticket to their next level of influence, but also a powerful catalyst for their biggest vision.

The reason I show up every day with joy and a sense of meaning is because I work with people who are making a lasting impact on this world. I get to guide people on a journey of authorhood that changes everything—that truly transforms their lives for the better and enables them to step fully into their purpose, and onto their next biggest stage, both literally and metaphorically.

Misty and I bonded in that locker room, sharing our dreams and aspirations. It’s been such a joy watching her impact over the past several years, and I celebrate every single time we get to collaborate.
